I am trying to search out some kexts for my Audio, Ethernet, WiFI, and Graphics. I need to find a way to figure out my device IDs for those items.

I am running the Dell XPS M2010 (1.86GHz Core 2 Duo Model)

I have Kalyway 10.5.1 installed and have located the Natit_ATIAuto.kext, but when I installed it for my Mobility Radeon X1800, I rebooted and got no video after the Apple Loading screen. So I deleted the kext and I am back at square one.

I think I can get a hang on the graphics kext if I can figure out my device ID. Same goes for the rest of my hardware kexts.

Please, if you have any help, provide it!!

Try this.

Apple > About This Mac > More Info

In the system profiler window, select the Graphics/Displays

look for "Device ID" and "Vendor"

Mine says

Device ID: 0x9498

Vendor: 0x1002

So, it should go like 0x94981002. That's my graphics card's ID.

Hope this helps you closer to your perfectly running Hackintosh. :)
