10.6.3 on AMD, error on boot

I am following this guide:

and I have a 100% legit retail copy of 10.6.3.

 

My specs are:

 

Mobo: MSI K9A2 Platinum

CPU: Phenom II X4 940 BE

RAM: Corsair Dominator

GPU: Radeon 5970

 

When the DVD loads, I get the error:

 

"Client task not privileged to open IOHIDSystem for mapping memory"

 

Any ideas how to fix this?

Nevermind, I seem to have fixed it. How exactly, I don't know. Going into the bios and saving it before booting the DVD seems to work well. The graphics card fans don't spin up then. Whether that has anything to do with it, I have no idea, but it worked for me.
