shiroitaka
Once installed iatkos, could there be problems installing iTunes 10 or can I upgrade iTunes safely? Thanks I have just installed itunes (10.1 i think) through system update and now my iatkos install is crashing on boot. Using the -v -x flag gets me to a message saying: No DSDT found, using 0 as uid value Using PCI-Root-UID value: 0 and thats it does anyone know of a fix? Scrap that fixed it by booting into safemode then using ##### to reinstall the voodooHDA and apple legacy 10.6.2 audio drivers then restarted fine
dothacker
i didn't have problems with both my iATKOS install with iTunes (V7 and S3 V2). Currently using iTunes Radio as I write this.
shiroitaka
Something it installed on mine clashed with the voodooHDA kext, once removed it booted fine but no sound. if i replaced it kernel paniced on boot. so I replaced that and the legacy drivers and tada it worked Just wish there was a driver/kext for my wifi card oh well on with ethernet and my usb wifi adapter. Though if I update to 10.6.4 that kills my install!
