Seanster
Hi, I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre I had the sound working but then I tried getting my new external microphone to work. I tried out one Kext that I found after doing some google searches and well now I have no sound at all. Does anyone have any ideas? I am going to keep searching because I really need sound... The mic I can live without. Thanks UPDATE: I got the sound back but I am still looking to get my mic working now.. it's just a simple one that plugs into the mic input in the back of the machine, nothing special. It works fine on my Windows 7 machine right next to it.

Audio chipset. If you have the sound working then it will probably be in "System Profiler" Or In Windows in "Device Manager" Or "System Info" application, there is one works on the Mac side & one works under Windows, both can be found on the forum. It may take some research & time to find the remedy. The other option is a USB Audio input dongle.
