lbraasch
Ok, so i have a dual boot going of 10.4.6 on my Ibm 2373 t41p. I have everything working except the battery indicator on the finder bar. How do i go about getting up the battery display again? Worse comes to worse, i'm gonna get a widget for the battery.... Ok, so i did a little bit more investigating, and osx is completely sure i'm on a desktop and not a laptop. When attempting to grab a battery info widget, i get the error saying "this widget can only be used on laptop computers." Anyone else have this issue/discover a get around? I'm really hoping i wont have to go playing with .kext files comparing w/ a macbook. Ok, found the bundle mod, which makes my version a laptop agian. thanks anyways? Bruce Wang
This thread might help you with it. It works on my T40. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=14912 Bruce
lbraasch
Ok, yeah, that's the link that i ended up finding, and using successfully. Cheers anyways. Did you ever find a proper driver for the video card? My fix was to just delete all the ati drivers and force 1400x1050 in graphics mode at boot. Full support would be quite nice though... Bruce Wang
Well...my T40 only supports 1024X768 max, so I didn't really searched the solution for increasing the resolution. Bruce

Apple Freak
For the graphic card issue, I think is becuase of your graphcic card doesn't have QE/CL, that's what I think...
Bruce Wang
QE and OpenGL can be enabled on Radeon Mobility 7500, you need ATI_7500_Pack.dmg for QE and ATIRadeonGLDriver.bundle and OpenGL.framework from 10.4.1 for OpenGL. Just do a search in the forum. Bruce
