StarForge
I do not have any install DVDs, I'm using the chain0 method to boot a dd'ed tiger-x86-flat.img (originally 10.4.6). I've read and tried several of the methods people have posted here: - Using the Knoppix Live CDs - qtparted --> Can resize, while in Knoppix, but after reboot the partition type has changed to a Linux partition and size the same. Won't boot and needs to be fixed using Arconis in Windows - Using 2 Hard Drives --> HD0 with Windows and HFS+ partition. HD1 with only HFS+ partition. chain0 always defaults to booting off HD1, but its the HD I want to use as my target drive. Had major problems and lost my Windows partition when attempting to use HD0. I'm totally stumped. The only thing I can think of is if there's a way to increase the size of tiger-x86-flat.img to the size I want the partition to be and the dd it... Is there a way to do this? After all my searching I've still come up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
