mattb19us
When installing the Marklar ISO image with the latest patch, my system hangs with the error: touch:/var/run/installer: Read-only filesystem Does this make any sense to anyone? CapAmerica
This is only a guess, but is the HD formated useing NTFS? Cause OSX can only read NTFS it can't write to it. again this is only a guess. This might do nothing fo you. mattb19us
Yes I have a 10GB NTFS partition set up for it. Should I change it to a FAT partition maybe? mattb19us
Here's probably a stupid question. I was just reading about my processor. AMD Sempron 3000+. Does this support SSE2? I have heard conflicted reports about this. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2323-read-only-error/#findComment-16232 Share on other sites
thrunner
why not run cpuz under windows and find out? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2323-read-only-error/#findComment-16256 Share on other sites
mattb19us
Thanks for the program. It appears that the Sempron does not support SSE2. So I guess that ends my OSX86 pursuits. For now at least. I'll keep watching to see if SSE1 CPU's are ever supported.
