StephenUL
Hey! Ok so let's get right to the point. My current PC has this inside it: 1 x GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard 1 x COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN3 CM690 II Basic Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 1 x G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO 1 x Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply 1 x SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive 1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM 1 x LITE-ON Black 4X Blu-ray Disc Reader SATA Model iHOS104-08 1 x Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750 1 x SAPPHIRE TOXIC 100282TXSR Radeon HD 5850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card All copied from newegg's order history, so I'm wondering, is this hackintoshable? I don't know what method I'll use but any is fine. I really couldn't care, but if I can do it I want to try it. Also I know I don't have a DVD writer if I have to do that, but I was thinking of either using a usb flash drive. And if I need to write a DVD I'll just use my laptop's. Thanks for the help, if you're wondering, I didn't think of using it as a hackintosh computer, I wanted to use it for gaming, but I barely game now that I look at it. Alessandro17
When enquiring about hackintosh compatibility, your first concern is your mobo. I can't find a lot about it, and that is not a good sign. Next you want to know about your graphics card: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189646 OS X doesn't normally support Blu-ray reading, but read here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=567391 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/231116-could-i-hackintosh-this/#findComment-1543293 Share on other sites
