^GoJo^
Hello, So as the title says, i'm getting this message when i start. It happened after i restored a Windows XP image i made before. So i let the Snow Leopard partition as active and Win XP as primary and get this message... I just don't get it, what the hell is wrong with chameleon?! Help me please FOOL EDIT! The active partition was the file stock partition...! Sadly, after setting 10.6 partition as active, this is not fixed cause i get memory allocation error, hell!! I never ever saw or heard of that! ^GoJo^
Some news : I set the XP partition as active, boot on it and do few things, then re-set the Snow partition as active but it would just restart over and over without showing chameleon... So i just plug in my usb snow disk to get its chameleon, then what do i see? My internal Snow partition is now showed as "NTFS Windows"! What the hell does it means?! I can access it when i'm under Windows (with MacDrive) and browse it without problems... It means nothing was deleted, there's just some {censored} but i can't understand... Anyone? oldtopman
Wow. It sounds like you messed up a lot. Back up the OSx86 partition and back up the Window$ partition (preferably to seperate partitions on a backup drive (If you choose to partition with Disk Utility, make sure you partition your HD as MBR)). Download GParted and create a new partition table. Partition your drive as you see fit and install Window$. Follow my guide here. You might not have to do a new partition table but that gives your HD a clean start.
