pp15
There is 1GB ram in my computer. But there is always around 500MB memory is "inactive", which is the blue one in pie chart. This memory seems cannot be used for program. And therfore the memory is very easy used up and the system become very slowly. Why this happened? Is there any ways to improve the problem? Vanderlee
Hi.. I've read from the smilar topics. It said that inactive memory (the blue one), is a cache of some programs.. So that if you open that programs, it will open it directly from the cache (to improve speed), but if another program need this memory, it'll be used by them. So you don't need to worry about this But about the system become very slow, maybe because of the virtual memory (It use almost 5GB in my machine). Cheers, Andre
