Siddharth Thiagarajan
I've Been Trying To Install iATKOS S3 V2 On My Friend's PC.. Everything Works Perfect Except The USB(Tried All The Fixes On The Disc) Pls Give A Solution For This.. AND I Am Not Able To Boot Into OS X Without The Install DVD Inspite of Choosing Bootloaders During Installation.. I Get BOOT ERROR Message Without Install DVD.. I Tried Asere, Chameleon During Installation.. Note : I Already Had An Windows XP Installation On Another Partition.. I Tried To Use EasyBCD On XP.. But It Didn't Detect Boot.. So I Tried Boot Think 2.4.6 From XP ... I Get The Boot Options Now.. Windows Boots Fine.. But When I Choose Mac.. It Boots And Then After Going To Desktop, I Get A Panic... Please Help And Give Me A Solution For The Above Mentioned Problems...
Biso007
I faced the same problems while using S3 V2 and solved it as following: after completing the installation do this: - boot using the DVD - install Chameleon 2R3 package - only apply the USB fix (no other USB enhancements) - modify com.apple.boot.plist file and add "arch=i386" to the "kernel flags" section. this should solve your problem as I think the whole issue is that the default boot mode for iAtkos S3 is 64-bit as well as Chameleon R4 and R5. Good luck
