Stevo58 Posted August 5, 2010 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Hi ive successfully installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 onto my pc using EFI empire boot disc. Things i did was: -disable StepSpeed in bios settings for cpu -Boot with EFI Empire boot disc -Insert Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.3 dvd -press f5 -enter -go through the install make sure u partition the hard drive as guid with disk utility if not it wont let you do the install -after install is done boot with EFI Empire bootdisc for the last time, this time click enter on the apple looking hard drive and once set up and in the os install empirebootinstaller on the EFI empire cd My Hardware Conroe1333D667 motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2GHZ 2x1GB 667 ram 320gig SATA Evga 9800GT 1GB PCI-E Video Card Sound works with appleazaliaaudio.kext ethernet works with no kext video card work with no kext replace the info in the com.apple.plist with this and ur card should work with full QE and CE <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>arch=i386</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>1</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </plist> Im planning on buying a p5q pro turbo motherboard, e8400 and 4gig 1066 ram in the next to month and will do the install with thos specs ill post future results Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
