orlfman Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 Hey all I just got my system up and running yesterday, but I have some concerns on what About Mac and System Profiler is saying about my hardware.. About Mac states I have 6GB of ram, which is true, but its claiming its DDR2 667mhz, when its Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600. Its also saying my bus speed for my processor is 100mhz. I have an Intel Core i7 Q980X, which I don't mind it saying unknown processor since Apple doesn't use it yet. In my bios its stating my ram is set at its X.M.P of 1600, so is it really at 1600 and System Profiler is just reading it wrong? Or is it right?
