Shake / FCP on Intel Macs?

Dear all!

I am wondering if anyone has been able to successfully install and use Shake and FCP

on Mac OS x running on Intel hardware.

I don't need to dual boot or do any of that fancy stuff -just need Shake and FCP to run

flawlessly. I also don't have any compulsions in terms of what hardware I must use. I

will just get whatever Intel-based hardware that works best with Mac OS x.

Of course I could just buy Yonah/Conroe-based machines from Apple directly -but then

again, that is not the idea here. Thanks in advance for your suggestions/advice.

Thanks Skeeter... -what hardware configuration did you use

to run Shake 4.1?

The whole Pro-series is available as an UB!

The apps are running perfect on my system (see my sig)

KTC,

You seem to have an interesting rig up there.

Do you have any benchmark figures? I mean I would want to know the difference between that P 930 and a P 630 (dual core HT vs single core HT)
