Joshua D C
I installed Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard on my IBM x40. Bad idea I know. Now when I boot I get a kernal panic: panic (cpu 0 caller 0x2a7e57) Kernal trap at 0x116bf69a type13=general protection Error code: 0x00000000 Pic here: Specs for my machine: Intel Pentium M 1.2Ghz 1.25GB ddr300Mhz Ram Intel Extreme Graphics 2 chipset (not of concern) I can still boot in safe mode and most stuff seems to work ok in there. No audio but graphics card is detected correctly so is LAN. Any ideas as to the kernal panic???
leonfan
I met same on Dell D620 when I run it for 2 hours and machine become too hot. I suppose it's cause by CPU part. I am also waiting for solution.
Joshua D C
I met same on Dell D620 when I run it for 2 hours and machine become too hot. I suppose it's cause by CPU part. I am also waiting for solution. I got iPC 10.5.6 working on my IBM x40. Runs reasonably well. No problems so far. I just had to be careful choosing the right drivers as well as the seatbelt.kext and the P/S2 keyboard fix. I believe on these older machines it is necessary to use the Vodo kernel 9.5.0. The only thing that doesn't work is sleep.
