HT Omega Striker 7.1 (CMI8738), and Optical out

Howdy,

 

I had SL installed 10.6.4 but had issues with my video card, so now i am on 10.5.8.

 

In 10.6.3/4 i found a 64 bit version of this kext that worked quite well with optical out.

Now that i am in 10.5.8 running the 32 bit driver i cant get the optical out working. (i tried the 64 bit driver aswell and it wouldent work).

 

Does anyone know how i can get my optical out working with my HT Omega Striker 7.1 (CMI8770) using the CMI8738 kext. Or prhaps someone has compiled one somewhere that has optical out in it.
