I used to have Leopard installed on my Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L but never got a retail install working.

I saw this guide for the board but it requires a already working OSX machine.

Does anyone know of any other guides for this board?

Also what are the best 775 socket motherboards still available for Snow Leopard. I could do with an upgrade anyway.

Cheers for any help

What guide did you follow, that board is compatible with osx86, there's a bunch of guides in this forum that can help you just search for them. about what's a good board the one I have is good out the box you can see the specs in my signature, you can also try the guide I followed to do the install with is a good one , I know is not for your board but again give it a try....
