A puzzling predicament with iATKOS S3 v2

Hi all,

I have been contemplating on installing a hackint0sh for quite a long time, but now i have finally decided to take the plunge. I have been going through this forum and i couldn't find a solution to a rather interesting predicament.

Firstly I will mention my Laptops's Configuration.

Laptop Model: Acer Aspire 5738

Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 (2 MB L2 cache, 2.2 GHz)

Intel GM45Chipset

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

4GB RAM

Wireless LAN,Ethernet,Bluetooth

Now i have Windows 7 and openSuSe installed. I formatted the openSuSe partion with ext3 and i had intended to install iATKOS S3 v2 on that partiton.

The first time i inserted the disc, i could get to the Hardware info tab of the utilites menu of the MAC OSX, but i just used it to write down the ids. but then at that time i had to leave, so i shut down the system without installing the OS. After a while when i was free i tried to install the OS, but it always freezes at the apple logo.

I tried the -v -x cpus=1 maxmem=2048 , but i still get an error.

What puzzles me is that i am unable to do anything to make it go beyond that point, but on the first attempt everything ran smoothly.

What could be the problem? I'm sure its not beginners luck. I used a third party partitioning tool to do the format. Could it be that while the disk was loading the first time it made some entries into the MBR?

I did NOT proceed with the installation the first time, just used it to get the hardware info and i shut down the laptop after that by pressing the power key. Is there a solution? Could it be a root error or something? or did it copy some files into the HDD while loading?

Regards

Hi, nothing happens... i don't even get to the point where i can choose anything...

when i use the -v -x cpus=1 maxmem=2048, the loading stops at this point...

"Waiting on boot volume with UUID CC09085A-26E5-3235-B882-CC98DBD2D967" and

"Waiting on <Dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><String ID="1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</ket><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>"

I really donno what to do. I changed the bios settings and changed from IDE to AHCI

I have really searched a lot before posting. What puzzles me most that it loaded the first time i ran it, now it doesn't
