Why do I have 6GB of RAM when running 32-bit?

Not that I don't WANT to, but I thought running more than 4Gigs of RAM required OS X to run in 64 -bit mode. I think i'm running in 32bit mode with Chameleon RC3 as my boot loader and 10.6.4 OS and it's showing 6Gigs of ram.

Oh yea, and why does my PC's clock keep screwing up when I boot into Windows 7?

No it will use PAE to make the extra memory available doing this (32 bit mode) you lose the extra register width of running 64bit plus the maximum memory per running process is limited.

Search in your favourite engine on "setting windows 7 to use UTC" it is a simple fix that will tell windows to use the UTC (universal time) instead of the local time that it defaults too for the system clock thus solving the problem.
