Hello,

 

Sorry for my english...

 

I've a Toshiba M70-168 with the Famous Intel 2200BG wifi card, but this card doesn't work...

 

My computer have ALL working...GMA915, Lan, DVD-ram, ALL.... !! but no wireless

 

I'll have 2 solutions :

 

USB dongle.... (i've buy a D-link usb dwlg122...it's work fine !!). But i don't like usb dongle...

 

I would like to have a Hidden solution :-)

 

I've try to buy a Netgear WG-511T PCMCIA card (normally she work...)

I come back in my home with my PCMCIa card...but.....ARG !!!, my PCMCIA BUS doesn't work....OSX don't see my Netgear working PCMCIA card...

 

Please help me for a solution :

 

Can i buy a Mini PCI card to for my Toshiba M70-168 (but i don't know if i have a Mini PCI card SLOT) ??

Can i've other (hidden) solution to have wireless internet with my toshiba M70 ??

 

If i've wireless...I've 100% IntelMac working !!! PLEASE HELP !!

best bet, buy a broadcom mini pci. Thats what i have and thats what i recomend. all you have to do is edit 2 kext files but if works flawlessly. It works on hp's, dell's and toshiba's.

If you have a 2200 wifi in it now, you should have a miniPCI slot in there somewhere.

Toshiba has a habit of hiding the miniPCI slot under a pair of security screws (torx with a pin in the middle) I've just upgraded a 5005 tosh to internal wifi and got the little driver needed off Ebay.

And I agree, a broadcom card would be the way to go, they're nice N cheap on Ebay.
