Hey guys:

I have the instructions from "tonymacx86's P55 Hackintosh Blog/ ##### + #####/ Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC" & "tonymacx86's P55 Hackintosh Blog/ Dual Boot Windows 7 and OS X Snow Leopard Using Chameleon"

Have 10.6.4 & Windows 7 64 bit (Separate Drives) on a GB UD3P OCed to 3.4. For the life of me I can't boot into SL 64 bit mode. I need to take advantage of my 8GBs ram. My system only recognizes 4GBs.

I don't know when to type in the 64 bit mode kernel instructions of arch=x86_64 during the boot cycle. Could someone please let me know at what point of the boot process to type in the commands if they are correct?

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the information RSN:

The information contained in the file " /library/preferences/systemconfiguration

edit com.apple.boot.plist" is as follows:

bplist00—\Kernel Flags[arch=x86_64

That doesnt look good. Here is a bare bones com.apple.boot.plist file you can place in the /library/preferences/systemconfiguration.

Sorry its zipped. Just unzip it. Rember to backup your original file just in case.

Hey RSN.

Sorry to get back to you so late. I had to download a few big files before I wanted to try the boot file you provided.

I get the same results and after replacing my file with the one you provided. It will only boot into 32 bit mode.
