problems booting

First of all I stumbled across this thread, and you guys are great and help people out. I never once seen bashing the noobs like other sites. hopefully you guys can help me out...I have been trying to install ideneb for 3 days now. I am using a...

 

compaq cq5110y

M2N68-LA (Narra5) motherboard

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

3gb ram

amd Athlon X2 (K) 7550 2.5 GHz (95W)

320 GB SATA 3G (3.0 Gb/sec)

 

I burned a disk with ideneb 1.3 on it. everything went great when i installed it. But when i try to boot it will not load at all. I have tried -x -v normal boot. I have changed the root password and tried to boot. If I try to boot normal i get the 1st picture (must restart prompt) If I try to go into with -v i get the second picture which was froze at this state for 45 min before i gave up. I have tryied reinstalling this several times. Its is being installed on a seperate portion on my HD. I want this very bad, any help is greatly appreciative. Thanks
