MacSpaces Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Hello, I been running 10.5.8 on this computer for over 5 months. Everything works. I decided to upgrade to 10.6.2 using IOTKOS new distro. When I first installed the OS everything worked fine but my ATI. So I decided to go out and buy me an ndvidia card (nforce 240) Everything was working fine. Internet, full video,sound etc. But I had a problem with a hard drive so i reinstalled everything. But now My sound does not work. Numerous times before i simply used the applehda for my ALC1200 sound card. I even used voodoohd but nothing. Now everything works except sound. What can I do to fix this? I know sound can work because it worked before on 10.5.8 builds and even on previous installs of 10.6.2. My other problem is when i visit flash sites. The video plays but then stops after a few seconds. Is this a video card problem? Ir what can i do to fix it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
