JaS 10.4.8 AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 in VMware Workstation failed

Ok so I was trying to install JaS 10.4.8 in VMware. All went well until the last part of installation where it said "Running Mac OS X Installer script" it had 7 minutes remaining so I took a snapshot and cut the installation off. I rebooted the VM with verbose switch and I get the following errors

Load of /sbin/launchd, errno 13, trying /sbin/mach_init

Load of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 13

I have an AMD Processor if that matters

Please help

Ok, reverted to snapshot. Seems it is doing something (Installer Log Proves it), it seems to be correcting permissions. And I can see little HDD activity. I guess maybe I'm not patient enough. I will keep you guys updated :P

Well I got it to work finally. Just need to get sound and networking working, but I would be fine without it. I had to boot up the installation disk and open disk utility. I then repaired the permissions. It seems like every file had messed up permissions.

I'm also trying to install JaS 10.4.8 in VMware player on an AMD machine and am getting the system starter 44 waiting for IFC error. Is repairing permissions all you had to do?

From what I remember, Yes.
