iDeneb on a HP Compaq NC6400

I have a Hp Comapq NC6400 1.6GHz centrino duo. 512mb. I recently installed iDeneb 10.5.6, everything works to a charm, with a few glitches. First, it runs hot so the the fan is spinning alot. My keyboard will act up when it is hot, and sometimes the comp freezes or kernel panic. My theory is that it cuz it gets hot from running on 1 cpu core instead of two, unsure. Any input will help on that subject. Second, my external headset/mic jacks do not work. I have the ADI1981HD soundcard, but i installed the the ADI1981 not HD kext as i followed a tutorial that told me to do so, I get sound though my built-in speakers, but not through the jack. Also, my built-in mic does not work. Please, if there is anyone out there that has this hardware (ADI1981HD), not necessarily the same laptop, but the soundcard as me HELP!!!!!
