bigfish2
Hi, Im using a dell studio 1555 with windows 7 installed. My main aim is to end up dual booting 7 and osx. Ive just gone for the snowosx universal distro. Install went smoothly, on booting i received boot0 boot1 testing errors. Booted back into the disk and went into terminal and set my osx partition with a flag and now im stuck with boot0: done searched around for quite a while but dont see much info on fixing this, any ideas how i can get into my osx install please? many thanks

bigfish2
that did the trick as far as boot options concerned thanks. Problem now is that i had the apple logo and a loading icon for about 10 minutes before i gave up and turned it off so ive got some other issues with the install it seems. I tried with -v -x and there were so many errors and the last line was com.apple.applefscompressiontypezlib load sucseeded. will look around into this and probably end up posting in a more relevent section for advice when i fail to find a solution lol. bigfish2
thanks for reply. i dont think anything there applied to me apart from the suggestion that kalyway 10.5.2 is a better distro to use for this laptop. I booted into the disc and loaded up terminal, i had a look for System/Library/Extensions but the extensions directory does not seem to exist not sure if that means anything at this stage. Also tried to use -x -v -f get further with this it hangs after (AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out DSMOS has arrived.
