Hi,

installation was no problem, but after first reboot, when I see screen with apple logo and blue loader try to starting mac os, process will stoped, harddrive no working...

my steps:

I am trying install to IDE (PATA) disk creating partition with disk utility in mac installer.

(must be creating before install in partition magick?)

Primary, I used raid0 with sata2.

Both of HDDs I disconnect, and use only PATA HDD.

(can be problem with settings in bios? I tried set Standard IDE mode for SATA+PATA; disable lan (marvell))

I used USB keyboard

(must be PS/2?)

If I change back boot priority to harddrive first (atapi is the second), boot ends with "b0 error"...

(I have to let dvd atapi first, and then wait 8seconds, where attempted boot from dvd atapi ends, then darwin x86 loading, but ends with no working hdd;)

Must be install PPF1 because of b0 error? But I don't have amd

hardware:

asus P5LD2-deluxe with i945P (ICH7R)

prescott E-0 revision with sse3

2GB ocz ram gold

ati radeon X300 128MB

thank you for your answer very much

I need give a kick for some ideas

I have the same motherboard but runs it with AHCI/SATA. You need to know that the red IDE connectors goes to the ITE ATA controller which is unsupported in OS X. The blue one works. But if you have an IDE DVD-ROM you will have to share it.

The Marvell LAN you should enable because it is the same as in the real macs, meaning it works out of the box, unless you disable it for other reasons.

I also recommend to use the goat...

of course; I use the blue one;

master is hdd; slave is dvd-rom, that's problem?

uf, I don't understand

And what about partition? Did you creat it in mac installer?

no it should work ok, but try the goat version of the 10.4.6 or patch your jas dvd.

the partition was created in the disk utility tool, but this is with the sata.
