zband Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 So I attempted to install 10.5 on a Sony vaio laptop (pentium 4). Updated the firmware, set the main boot drive to CD, then HD and started up the boot123 generic iso. That loaded, placed my leopard dvd in the drive which loaded - then the computer restarted only to restart and try to boot from the HD (no OS on it). Any suggestions whats going wrong ? I was hoping that after I loaded the generic iso -> leopard dvd-> set up screen would come on.... any suggestions would greatly help since I can think of anything !
