faraz.yashar
I've read through a lot of guides that use older versions (10.5.4 and lower) when doing a retail installation with Boot-132, Chameleon, and EFIStudio. Does 10.5.7 work just as well or would it be wiser to dig up an older version?

Beerkex'd
Provided you have compatible hardware, yes it's possible. You just need the right set of files for your hardware on your boot media. However if you're new to install OS X on PCs it would be a lot easier to install from a hacked DVD. I can't say anything else because you have neglected to provide any specific information about your hardware.
