I got 10.6.2 working on a Asus P5E in 64bit. But for the life of me I cannot get Front Row to work. All I get is a black screen.

help!

Sounds like you need to fix your graphics, you do not have acceleration working maybe?

I threw everything at it: NVEnabler 64.kext, NVinject64.kext, and EFIstrings. I don't know what else I can do.

So far the only qe/ci indicator that works is the chess game and transparent menu. Everything else, like the ripple effect on dashboard and Front Row does not work. Playing movies at full screen gets choppy.

I noticed you have the same graphics card 8400gs. How did you get it to work?

Try booting in 32-bit mode. Maybe the 64-bit drivers for your video card don't work right.

Thanks for the tips. I tried everything. Still cannot get QE/CI.

Tried 32 bit, with and without strings, with and without kexts.

Tried Graphics Enabler = Y, still nothing.

Tried editing NDANV50Hal.kext & GeForce.kext, nothing.

Went from DVI to HDMI, DVI to DVI, VGA to VGA, nothing.

I am this close to buying a different graphics card.

What am I doing wrong???

Did you try all stock kexts and settings and use efistudio? That is all I did.
