Biovital
Well I did a search but Im not finding anything useful as all of the links to drivers/utils etc are outdated or down. I have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L rev 2 with ALC888, and Im running iatkos v7 updated to 10.5.8. I installed the VoodooHDA driver that iatkos v7 comes with, and if I use analog connections sound works great, but it will not work with SPDIF. I rebooted into Windows 7 to see if SPDIF was working and it does, so its not a hardware or cable issue. In Sytem Preferences I can adjust volume, balance etc. In VoodooHDA pane if I select spdif out all of the sliders go grey, but with analog (unknown) I can adjust much of them. All I want is stereo output from the SPDIF, no need for inputs or 5.1 stuff etc. I've searched on Google and here and it seems this is a common issue. Is there an updated driver Voodoo driver that'll work for 10.5.8?
