eric.c.mi
I've been using a USB/midi keyboard that is powered from the USB and works great and natively. However nothing happens when I insert a USB flash drive formatted to FAT16(I believe). I tried 3 different Sony Digital Camera's. One did nothing, the other added an icon to the desktop but caused SBBOD when i tried to open it. I tried to mount it manually, but i dont see anything in /dev that looked useful. I remember on redhat it was /dev/sda any help is appreciated. wanadoo
Have you tried to boot the computer up with the devices plugged in? This works for me and my iPod. If i plug it in when OS X is running nothing happens, but if I plug it in and then start the computer it works fine. It's like the plug-and-play was removed from my USB-ports =) Try it! Cheers!
