shadowmoses Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 I just setup my hackintosh and got an old version of 10.4.1 for OSX86 working fine, I then burnt my JAS 10.4.6 install DVD and went about installing and it all went fine except it wont boot past the blue screen after restart from the installation finishing.... I have researched this topic and have seen it to be common place in laptops but howcome this is happening to a desktop board thats suppose to be 100% compatible... shadowmoses Posted July 14, 2006 Author Share Posted July 14, 2006 Just got it to boot to OS X by changing the bios so the video uses ext-PCI for some reason this makes it boot, but I know get flashing spotlight icon and finder keeps relaunching when I try to click on about this mac.....very weird!!!
