Looking for News Posters!

Do you check Mac news sites (and this forum) way too much? Enjoy sharing your opinion on things? Articulate? Witty?

If so, we'd love for you to join our News Team. The Mac world is a large place and we need the assistance of the community to keep up with it all. We want to make our news blog the best place online for serious Mac tech info.

 

It's pretty simple, really - all we ask is that you make at least 3 posts per week on whatever deep Mac tech or OSx86 related topics you like. The news can come from within our forum (which is always awesome!) or from outside. And we're talking the kind of news that this community enjoys - things like kernels, overclocking, hardware, hacks, etc. Don't worry: we'll leave the Apple Store announcements to TUAW.

 

We prefer that our writers are at least 21 and/or have a few years of college under their belt, although outstanding candidates can get around those qualifications.

 

We have a lot of interest in these positions, so unfortunately we can't accept everyone (since we want to keep a small, tight-knit, high quality group of writers). Members of our News Team get a cool badge, all the fame and glory that goes along with being a news poster for one of the fastest growing Mac forums around, and the ability to share news and views with the world.

 

If you're interested, PM or email me with 2 writing samples: one can be anything (school papers, blog entries, etc) and one that's a short (2-3 small paragraphs... really easy stuff) made-up entry for our website discussing anything Mac related. The fictional entry for our site should be written the style we try to maintain - fun, lighthearted, witty, and informative (and not afraid to challenge the status quo!).
