valv
I f u feel paranoid enough, don't worry. u'r no more usin' win stuff. but if u really get paranoid to a point (like I am) that u cannot trust what am stating here, go with LittleSnitsh for blocking unwanted communications, ClamXAV as antivirus and OSXrkhunter for rootkits. valv
what did u not understand ? depending on your paranoia's degree u can go with one of them or all, as they don't insure same fonctionality. the first is a firewall, the second is an AV and the latest is for rootkits. man if u only need a minimum go with the system firewall as the LittleSnitsh is not free. Beerkex'd
It depends on your level of paranoia and what you do with your Hackintosh. Read the Little Snitch manual so that you can understand what it does and how to use it. Little Snitch is not an antivirus program, it's more like a firewall for outgoing connections. Any easy way to get and run Clam AV is to install Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner (google it). No. http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html Mac OS X already has a firewall built in.
