JamesZero
I have a system currently running Leopard 10.5.2 I want to install Snow Leopard and have been reading up on a couple of guides. I have installed a second hard drive into this machine and I have a DMG of a retail copy of Leopard. The start went fine, I partitioned my new drive off as GUID and then ran the terminal commands: sudo –s chown 0:0 /Volumes/Snow So the next step was to mount the DMG and then browse to the Packages folder and run OSInstall.mpkg When I do that first I get a screen with the "This package contains a program that determines if the software can be installed. Are you sure you want to continue?" So I click continue, then I get the following box come up: Alert For Mac OS X system requirements, see the "Read before you install" document on your Mac OS X installation disc. The only button I can click is close and that closes the whole installation down... I tried downloading a modified OSinstall from another website but I get the same problem. I can't go any futher! Any ideas?
