Monte SS Burnout
I know that leopard and 780i mother board didnt get along at all.. but is snow leopard any different? I'm strongly debating selling my mother board so I can put mac on my desktop, however if snow leopard is possible and stable on 780i, I wont sell it. Can anyone give me any information on this? Beerkex'd
Doesn't seem like a very popular chipset..there's only one thread about it on the entire forum.

Monte SS Burnout
I successfully installed leopard on my 780i, with sound and graphics working, but it was unstable and crashed due to ram i think. Is snow leopard 100% stable on the 780i?

Is snow leopard 100% stable on the 780i? I recommend that you look at the posts in my nForce SL thread from 780i owners; if you have a EVGA 780i MOBO, you could be having chipset overheating issues......see this post from before and raMDay's expriences with the 780i.....also, you have to use the slashack AppleNForceATA.kext or its AnV variant if you have > 3GB RAM......
