Pier25
Everything is running smoothly. I used kakewalk for the install. But on the system profiler my core i7 shows up as a xeon processor? Is this normal? Does this means mac os is not using the full power of my processor?
LouCioccio
Sometimes it may not show up you may have to edit smbios.plist. Try going to geekbench and see how fast it runs. Also run Activity.app in the Utility folder that should show how many cores running. Ciao, Lou Cioccio
Mackilroy
It's not a huge deal, nothing to worry about. Same thing appeared with my Core i7 930.
