The cpu has been disabled, please help!

I've installed this version fine "Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.6.X86-HOTiSO" but whenever I try to boot it states the cpu has been disabled by the guest machine and says it has to restart. I have no idea of a way around this or a fix.

Can anyone help!?!

Thanks in advance :D

I too had this problem... I read some place about the kernal patches not being applied correctly. It was pretty easy to fix... reboot from the install disc, open a terminal (I think from the utilities menu) and type

cp mach_kernal /Volumes/disc

reboot and I was cool for school... When I installed osx I named my disc "disc", the name on your system will be different.

hope that helps.
