blkhockeypro19 Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Just wondering if anyone knows why I'm having this problem or has experienced it themeselves. Why does A CLEAN INSTALL of snow leopard boot up in 45 seconds when I have my boot drive and cd rom drive and backup drive plugged in, but when I remove all devices except the boot drive, snow leopard boots up in 30 seconds? Some useful info: -I am using ahci mode -I am using pcefi 10.6 -I am using mac os 10.6.3. This problem occurs on 10.6-10.6.3 however -My xbench disk score on the boot drive are consistently at 50 whether I have multiple drives plugged in or not.
