gothicoreo
I used the HoTISO image (AKA JaS 10.4.6) , patched 10.4.7, ran software update, installed the Macvidia Beta2 Build 2, and it runs beautifully. However, I installed and try to run Civ III patched to 1.21g (this also happened before patching) and it looks like a bad acid trip. I believe it is trying to run in 16 colors. I have tried forcing the screen size and sync, disabled all the graphic options I can, and it still looks like a bad acid trip. Anybody have any ideas? DJSpike
Hi, I did not know Civ 3 was updated to a Universal Binary on the mac. You might be running it with Rosetta ? In this case, try to disable Quartz Extreme 2D, this is known to give such graphical bugs with Rosetta. Anyway, Civ 4 running fine on my box I used the HoTISO image (AKA JaS 10.4.6) , patched 10.4.7, ran software update, installed the Macvidia Beta2 Build 2, and it runs beautifully.
