C.D.C
Had an old EMachines AMD PC kicking around in the closet. Would like to instal an older version of the Mac OS if possible. Here are the specs: Motherboard: FIC AM37 Chipset: VIA P4M266/KM266 (VT8375) Southbridge: VIA VT8235 AMD Athlon XP 2000+ @1.6GHZ MMX(+), 3DNow(+), SSE 2GB Transcend DDR RAM Nvidia GeForce 4 MX440 128MB Vid Card Is there anything in the Apple OS flavor that will possibly run on this? I have a feeling the CPU is gonna make it impossible but, I dont know until I ask! Swhay
you would have to use one of the AMD OS X distributions. Do a Google search on OS X on AMD. Not sure if you will find any, that system might be way too old to work. You would be much better off with using an Intel Core 2 Duo setup.
