imacken
OK, I haven't tried to boot my Leo install for a while as I've been using W7 and Snow for months now. Still, today I wanted to back into Leo to make sure it was still working as it is a useful fallback if something goes wrong. I have Snow, W7 and Leo on separate HDs which all used to boot happily either from their own drives or from a Chameleon partition. Now, when I select Leo, I get an almost immediate re-boot of my PC. Too quick to see any message in verbose. The only thing I can think that has changed, is some BIOS settings a few weeks ago. Can anyone suggest anything, or how I can see what is causing the re-boot? imacken
Solved! A process of elimination on the BIOS setting changes made it boot again. The culprit was 'Execute Disable Bit'. With that 'disabled', Leo won't boot, with it 'enabled', everything is fine again.
