Right ...

Here we go again..The other day i burned again iATKOS_v7 on a DVD and this time i was succesfull..

I was able to pass the flashing apple logo screen and the instant reboot...Here`s my NecLavie laptop`s specifications--> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...st&id=67931

Now this time everything went well despite the pesimit voices that were telling me that my laptop is too old to even try to boot MAC OSx on it...

All went well and the content of the DVD were transfered to the harddisk slowly but steadily

I finally got to the part where it says `Install succeded you must reboot`

And now is where the `FUN` starts....

I click on the reboot button and the computer start to reboot but then somehow gets stucked and hangs on reboot for ever ...And then when i cold restart it from the power button on startup i get greeted by the press any key to enter the startup options ..If i do not do anything the *Loading Darwin screen appeares and then suddenly the laptop reboots after few seconds* If i do press any key at all i am taken to this screen ....Below is first picture the upper part and then the second one the lower part of the screen

From here whatever i am doing it does not matter anymore...The copmuter ends up in an endless restart loop.

Now all this happend when i just poped in the DVD and after i erased the disk and chosed the partition i let it run by itself installing the default configuration...

Whenever i attempted to select anything else like usb and stuff the DVD will just get stucked by hours..

Now..What am i doing wrong ??? Any ideas?? Uphuck?? Guys???

Listen i really appreciate your patience with a newbie..I am decided to give it a shot..It can not be worst then it was when i first started with linux 7 years ago

Thanks guys..

Gorilla Out!

.................................

it doesnt look like you pressed the customize button and chose the correct kexts for your hardware.

if you did, boot with -v and see what exactly is going wrong. right now you are not giving the correct info.

It is THAT hard. the hardest part is getting the right kext for every piece of your hardware.

if you have 2 kexts for the same piece of hardware it will crash and reboot.

if you have the incorrect kext for a piece of hardware it could crash and reboot.

if you are missing a kext for an integral piece of hardware it will crash and reboot.
