pogo park
hi, So here's the scenario: Windows 7 RTM MacDrive 8.0.5 WD MyBook Studio II 2TB in RAID 0 with Time Machine backup from my MBP on it When I try and browse the disk, Explorer hangs at 50% processor (100% of one core) until my computer BSODs about 45-60 seconds later. HOWEVER, I have an application that, when I browse to open, starts from a folder a few levels deep on the disk. I can open and access files here fine, copy them off, etc. When I go up a level, though, and try to drill down from there, the same hang happens. WTF is going on? The disk is fine, by the way, and works okey-doke on a Mac or in other Windows partitions. Anyone have any ideas or strategies for resolving this? srs5694
Have you tried using Disk Utility to repair the disk? It's conceivable it's damaged in some subtle way that's not immediately obvious when Mac OS is running, but that's causing MacDrive to flake out.
