quis
Hi there, so I finally got my Snow Leopard up and running, but now this is a really strange situation. I basically followed this thread to try to make my 4850 work, and here's what I got: FIRST METHOD Nice, 4850 got recognized in profiler, QE/CI on too. When I try to set the resolution however, I can't find that 1440x900... SECOND METHOD Boom. Kernel panic at ATIRadeonX2000.kext Is there something I'm missing about this method? EVOENABLER METHOD Same result as method one. -- All I did to my vanilla SL are only the steps in the tutorial, no other things changed, not even a boot flag. How do you guys get your 4850 to work? Care to give a hand plz ? I'm using a DVI-to-VGA adapter btw... is that a problem? quis
I just plugged it to the other DVI port and that's it!! Surprised myself too. I read on some site that you should use the port close to the mainboard. (Some PciRoot thing? No idea.) Now I got a fully working Snow! Awesome!
