beermacht
hi everyone, i'm searching a good apple oriented repair forum - is there anything like that on this planet ? i don't mean the ifixit.com stuff - nice page but for me - useless i need real repair stuff, like tespoints, reflowing or changing bga's and so on since the most so called "service manuals" from apple are only about opening and replacing of larger parts, the are also pretty useless Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211190-apple-hardware-repair-forum/ Share on other sites

beermacht
well, it seems like there is nothing like that on the web - to bad the most apple boards are about the usual way to repair an apple computer - "they can only be fixed if you change the logicboard" i have many service manuals for different computers - but the most of them are {censored} (not only the ones from apple) i've been in the cellphone repair business for years and had real repair manuals, with reference manuals for the used components and so on it seems that nobody is really interested in changing parts anymore (but thats actually good for me, that means will always get "cheap" dead macs on ebay, fix them in an hour and sell them again on ebay ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211190-apple-hardware-repair-forum/#findComment-1414638 Share on other sites
