xxxrichievxxx
I was wondering if i can install a kext without going in and logging into the mac installation.. Reason why i cant go in is because... I iinstalled Snow leopard from Hazard. and they dont have my intel 8255x and when i try to boot into the installation i come up to the registration and i cannot get my serial to work It says in the boot CD that you have to have a working Network card in order to get passed the serial part... Now i got an IOnetworkingFamily.kext that it's for intel 8255x And im trying to install it BUT i cant get into Snow Leopard because i have to finish up the registration. thank for your help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/210755-how-to-install-kext-but-i-cant-get-into-the-installed-osx/ Share on other sites
XLR
You don't have to register, and SL doesn't requires any serial. Mushishi
This will be hars but live with it... you are stupid because of 2 resons. 1 you used a distro.... 2 you installed the server witch need the serial without thinking about if you needed network. But that is what you get when you use distros.
