Has anyone tried to Run Snow Leopard as Guest in Parallels

I know its done in Vmware fusion.. via the darwin.iso patch, or the touch plist method..

with parallels, the same problem occurs

"An invalid Mac OS version is specified"

I tried to use the touch plist method, but it just 'quits' after the bios screen..

I've looked at the verbose logs.. but they don't say anything :D

Hi kocoman, does the method you posted elsewhere still work ok for you?

Actually I got it working.

Install SL **SERVER** first,

then ADD new Virtual HDD then reboot

then mount the SL **CLIENT** DMG

cd /Volumes/your DMG

run sudo

run System/Installation/CDIS/Mac\ OS\ X\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Mac\ OS\ X\ Installer

Install to blank disk

(don't worry it won't reboot afterwards)

then run

cd /Volumes/YOUR FRESH SL CLIENT

touch System/Library/CoreServices/ServerVersion.plist

shutdown

then "remove" (not delete) your server virtual drive

then make the CLIENT drive the only drive

boot again

it works on Fusion and Parallels

don't need to do the darwin.iso etc patch anymore
