alright im new to the whole hackintosh stuff and i had 10.5.4 running on my msi netbook it ran fine but i needed to upgrade some programs for work and like i said im new so updating to 10.5.8 i felt like i would screw that up so i change the system info by going into system/library/core services and edited the file systemversion.plist and it worked my os thought it was running 10.5.8 and so i used the update tool and it had a security update so i ran than and restarted now it wont boot up gets stuck at apple logo with the gear under it when i boot using -v it says Mdns initial failed so is their away to fix this or am i just screwed

 

using msi netbook

320 gb HD

1.60 GHz intel atom

2 gb ram

besides cpus=1 (2) if u have 2 cores. try busratio=7 or 10... should work now, and insert -f too
